Faith & Action Project: Inspiring a Pathway from Poverty to Prosperity
We are living through a poverty pandemic in the United States today—and Indianapolis is at the heart of this growing crisis. While extraordinary work is already underway in our community, it needs to be connected, amplified and accelerated. At CTS, we believe we’re called to be an integral part of this work, loving all our neighbors in ways both tangible and spiritual. Through the Faith & Action Project, we ignite a multi-sector, interfaith, collaborative approach—one that implements lasting solutions for people confronting poverty. The Faith & Action Project is sparking a revolution of hope as we connect, inspire and empower our community to come together and provide a meaningful and sustainable pathway out of poverty.
What We Do
Share solutions, best practices and evidence-based approaches to reduce poverty and address systemic racism
Through our Fall Event and Spring Conference, we bring together advocates who are committed to addressing the systemic issues of poverty in our community. Both events facilitate a deeper community understanding of the challenges and opportunities we face, highlighting initiatives by local organizations that are making a lasting difference and encouraging solution-oriented collaboration among these stakeholders.

Funding Innovative Initiatives
Through our annual grant program, CTS supports local organizations that are implementing innovative initiatives. The funds help those in the Faith & Action network to further engage, connect and accelerate efforts to mitigate poverty and address systemic contributors to generational poverty.
