Seeking interested applicants for the 2024 Summer “McCann Pulpit” Resident Minister position serving the New Piasa Chautauqua Community, located off the Great River Road (IL Route 100) along the Mississippi River between Elsah and Grafton, IL. The Minister is an integral participant, providing spiritual leadership to this faith-based community of approximately 120 residences. Accepting applications for either the entire 2024 Summer Season (June 8th through September 2nd) or a portion thereof. Responsibilities include leadership and preaching for Sunday services, a weekly Bible Study, a weekly Vespers services, and maintaining a pastoral presence for the community. Ordination is not required, seminary students are welcome to apply. A lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath parsonage is provided at no cost and direct family members are welcome, with fair compensation to be jointly determined. Family members are welcome to join in all summer programs. The New Piasa Chautauqua Church Assembly is a non-denominational Christian organization, a vital part of this Chautauqua community that was founded in 1885.
