Christian Theological Seminary staff, faculty, students and friends are making Christmas brighter for local families and children who find themselves homeless. Through December 15, CTS is collecting donations for 14 families – including 134 children – currently served by the Dayspring Center and its Wellspring Transitional Housing program in Indianapolis. The Dayspring Center (insert link: http://dayspringindy.org/) is a resource for homeless families and strives to combat homelessness through comprehensive programming.
There are many opportunities to make a difference in the life of a family that is homeless. CTS is collecting toys for young children and gift cards for older children served by the Dayspring Center. If you would like to participate, please place your unwrapped gift under the tree located in CTS’s Town Square by Thursday, December 15. Gift cards may be delivered to Karen Kelm in Room 176. CTS will deliver gifts to the Dayspring Center on Friday, December 16.
Beyond toys and gift cards, you may also support the Dayspring Center by purchasing an ornament from the tree or making a canned food donation. Several ornaments are priced under $1.00. CTS, the Dayspring Center and the families served are grateful for your generosity.
