Dr. Steve Blinder serves as the senior pastor at Brandon Christian Church (DOC) in Brandon, Florida. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in education, graduate degrees in human resource management, leadership, and divinity. Steve was a teacher, school administrator, principal, head of schools, and taught in the college of education at several South Florida universities. He believes storytelling is a powerful way to connect with others, to build the capacity for us to be God’s hands, heart, and feet, and to create a culture where authentic intergenerational formation is not only possible — but thrives. He has performed at several storytelling Olios across the country, helped organize the South Florida Association of Storytellers, and has presented workshops on storytelling at two International Literacy Association conferences. He is excited to be able to contribute to the work being done through Growing in God’s Word cohort!
