We are honored to welcome delegates from various seminaries, divinity schools, colleges, and universities to Christian Theological Seminary on Sunday, September 19, 2021, for the installation of David M. Mellott as our seventh president. As you prepare to join us for this special event, the information below may be helpful.

General Information
Parking
All parking areas will be available to our guests. Seminary personnel will be there to direct you.
You are welcome to use spaces identified for visitors, faculty, and staff.
Accessible parking is available for those who need it.
Check In
Delegates will check in for the procession in the Butler University South Campus Town Square
Installation Luncheon
Delegates are invited to join Dr. Mellott and other special guests for a luncheon Sunday at noon in the courtyard located in the center of South Campus.
Academic Attire
All delegates in the procession are expected to wear academic / ecclesiastical regalia.
Delegates will furnish their own academic or ecclesiastical regalia.
A secure room will be available for robing and for storing your personal belongings during the ceremony. CTS staff members will be available to assist you.
Procession
Delegates will assemble for the processional to Sweeney Chapel. You will receive your assigned processional location upon check-in.
Processional line-up will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Reception
Following the conclusion of the ceremony, we invite all guests to join us at a reception to celebrate the installation of our new president.
