Christian Theological Seminary is excited to announce membership with two organizations, the Association of Hispanic Theological Education and the Hispanic Summer Institute.

The Association of Hispanic Theological Education (AETH) is a non-profit organization and network of institutions that is “dedicated to the promotion and improvement of theological education and its impact on the lives of people, churches and communities.” It does so by promoting and certifying Hispanic theological education programs and contributing to leadership development.

The Hispanic Summer Program (HSP) is an ecumenical program in theology and religion that aims “to supplement and enrich the theological and ministerial education being offered in ATS seminaries and universities, with academic courses and other activities directly addressing Latinx history, ministry, and theology. “

The HSP, which began as an effort of the Association of Theological Schools, was “born of the hopes and struggles of a variety of Latina/o Christians as well as the institutions that work in solidarity with the broader Latino communities” to advance the theological education and pastoral leadership of the Hispanic American Church.
