Rev. Dr. Brigitte Franklin serves as the Assistant Director in the Office of Career Education at Earlham College and is an Associate Minister at Alfred Street Baptist Church, Alexandria, VA. Her areas of expertise include pastoral care, counseling, and leadership coaching.  Franklin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Central Oklahoma, a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty School of Divinity, and a Doctor of Ministry from Payne Theological Seminary. Her proposed research explores the intersection of African American sacred rhetoric as a site of theological meaning, collective healing, and transformative praxis. Franklin claims Detroit, MI and Oklahoma City, OK, as home, and she currently resides in Englewood, OH.
