At Christian Theological Seminary, we embrace a spirit of generosity. That generosity impacts all aspects of the seminary and the future of theological education. Our faculty share their generosity through imparting knowledge and wisdom to our students. Our staff share their generosity through ensuring the effective management of the day-to-day aspects of the seminary. Our alumni, donors, and friends extend their generosity through trusting our stewardship of their financial contributions.

In that spirit of generosity, we are excited to announce our 2nd annual Day of Giving on Thursday, February 17, 2022. On that day, we are inviting our alumni and friends from across the country to join us as we #Unite, #Inspire, and #Invest in the seminary, its students, and its mission.

The Day of Giving will be a 24-hour period of social media engagement when students, alumni, faculty, and staff are invited to offer financial support to CTS and to encourage their fellow members of the CTS family to do the same. The CTS community will be able to engage via social media throughout the day for updates and celebrations of the financial support received. This year’s goal is to engage more than 150 donors. Be sure to follow our posts on Facebook and Twitter for updates and celebrations throughout the day.

In preparation for the occasion, CTS recently launched a #ThrowbackThursday campaign on social media to highlight the history of CTS and its transformative work. These posts have helped to spur alumni and other community members to unite around shared memories as well as the legacy and important work of the seminary.

Kristin Champa, Vice President for Advancement, said, “We were thrilled at the outpouring of support we received during last year’s Day of Giving and continue to be incredibly grateful for the generosity of our donors. Every gift matters, no matter the size. Through the support of individuals across the CTS community, we can achieve this year’s Day of Giving goal and ensure the sustainability and vitality of CTS for generations to come.”

“I am excited about our 2nd Annual Day of Giving,” said April Ervin, Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving. “Last year was a wonderful opportunity to highlight all aspects of CTS, engage with our broader alumni community, and invest in the future our students. On February 17th, we look forward to furthering that engagement and creating opportunities for our students, alumni, and friends to again come together in support of the Day of Giving.”
