Music leadership Job description- Praise Team/ Choir Director

The part time staff member filling this position should have a desire to glorify God through music and to deepen the faith of our congregation through the ministry of music. It is our desire that this individual create contemporary musical performances and creative events and environments that are consistent with the mission and vision of First Christian Church (FCC). This individual’s role is to direct the Praise Team during our Blended Service at FCC on Sunday mornings and during special services which call for Praise Team participation. As Choir Director the individual will direct the choir on Sunday mornings and for other special services through the year. Other responsibilities include selecting music, assist in planning worship and lead weekly rehearsals.
