Reports and Complaints Involving Harassment or Discrimination
Christian Theological Seminary continues to work diligently to ensure that our policies, training, procedures and resources are designed to effectively serve our students, faculty and staff and ensure a safe learning environment. As part of this effort, CTS has adopted a new Title VI and Title IX Policy Prohibiting Racial and Sexual Harassment. Title VI is the federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, and Title IX is the federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in the programs and activities of educational institutions. As provided in the Policy, CTS does not tolerate harassment, including acts of harassment based on race and/or sex. Any student who believes that he or she has been subject to harassment is encouraged to report the incident(s) to our Title VI and Title IX Coordinator listed below.
The Coordinator will coordinate the investigation of all complaints of harassment in accordance with the Policy. An investigation will be completed as expeditiously as possible with the goal of completing the investigation within 30 days of receiving a complaint. During the investigation, the parties to the complaint will be provided with periodic updates and will receive a formal letter informing them of the outcome of the investigation at its conclusion. For complaints that are substantiated, the letter will identify any appropriate disciplinary sanctions of individuals who engage in the harassment, which sanctions can include, if circumstances warrant, suspension or expulsion of a student or suspension or termination of an employee. Students or employees who retaliate against individuals who report harassment will be promptly disciplined.

Annual Security And Fire Safety Report
Based on their requirements, some reports of criminal activity are not reported but kept on file in a separate crime log that is kept in the Office of Student Operations. This log is public and is available for review by contacting, Rebecca Arnott, Student Operations Coordinator, at email@example.com. Butler University also maintains a separate Crime Log that includes all of the Butler properties. This log is also public and is available for review through a request to the Butler University Police Department.
