1. PASTOR ACTIVITIES
•Weekly sermons/worship, plus special services (Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Christmas Eve)
•Deacons and Council Meetings (5 per year scheduled, odd number months from March-November)
•Annual Meeting (scheduled late January)
•Local Ministerium (5 churches)
The Pastor will provide 30+ hours per week (church office hours are at the Pastor’s discretion).
3. COMPENSATION and BENEFITS
A range of $35,000 to $42,000 annual rate, based on experience and qualifications, (the pastor elects how much of this total is designated as housing) consisting of gross wages, social security offset, annuity (if applicable) and health care insurance (if applicable, 50% cost sharing). The Pastor will be responsible for taxes and the breakdown of the gross amount between salary and housing allowance. Salary will be paid according to the church’s regular payroll. Other related items are listed below.
•Social Security Offset: 7.65% of salary + housing
•Health Insurance through UCC program, for single coverage at 50% of premium cost, including dental and vision
•Auto Allowance: paid at the IRS reimbursement rate for visitations and other requirements
•Continuing Education and Professional Expense Reimbursements: $750
•No parsonage exists
•Vacation: 2 weeks
