At any point in our life we may find ourselves living with a restlessness that leads us to question: How could life be different?
Sometimes this restlessness leaves us holding a variety of emotions like sadness, fear, anger, frustration. These as well as other emotions can keep us stuck and unable to meaningfully connect to self or others. Whether you may be wondering about change, resisting change or ready for change – therapy might be a pathway to consider!
I believe therapy can open a curious space for change and connection. Through exploring and leaning into pathways for change, the quality of our relationship to self as well as other persons may be positively different!
My masters training was completed at Christian Theological Seminary in Marriage and Family Therapy. Early in my career I lived overseas where I worked with persons experiencing various types of trauma. Over the last 30 years, I have worked with individuals and families as they have struggled with the challenges of catastrophic illnesses and disease. My practice at CTS Counseling Center has provided a unique opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families who dare to wonder how could life be different?
A “spirit of restlessness” has seemingly been a common concern throughout my work with individuals of all ages. While a common concern, I believe each person can curiously experience their own unique pathways for change.
As a therapist, I provide time and space for connecting to this spirit of restlessness. Taking time to care for our restless spirt can lead us to more fully embrace who we are as well as how we may want to live and Be in this life.
