SUMMARY:CTS Talks: Rev. Teresa Kim Pecinovsky
DESCRIPTION:Intergenerational Imagination: Creativity at the Heart of God’s Transformation\nWhat if we viewed creativity as essential to transformation? Looking at examples in scripture, the psychology of craft, and ministry experience with children and older adults, we’ll explore how creating is a reflection of God’s image in us, and an avenue to individual and community transformation.\nExperience a series of captivating “TED Talk” style lectures at CTS Talks. Delivered by distinguished guests who are subject matter experts, these thought-provoking talks provide a platform to gain insight on topics that tie together intellectual curiosity and community reflection.\n\n \nRev. Teresa Kim Pecinovsky\nBorn in South Korea and raised in Iowa, Teresa (she/her) earned an MEd from the University of Houston and an MDiv from Vanderbilt Divinity School. Rev. Teresa is an ordained minister through the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and currently serves as a chaplain and associate minister at First Christian Church in St. Paul. In her spare time she can be found eating noodles, reading middle grade novels, or working on one of many unfinished art projects. Teresa is the author of the children’s books Mother God, The Peace Table, and Sparking Peace. She and her spouse live in Saint Paul, Minnesota with three adorable and exhausting young children.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
