CTS Alums: Welcome Back! Reconnect!

On Wednesday, September 25, CTS will host an alumni reunion, “Alumni Connections – Reconnecting with CTS, Reconnecting with Friends”.   CTS alumni will reconnect with the beautiful CTS campus, fellowship with the wider CTS family and worship in the soaring splendor of the chapel while learning about new and transformative initiatives underway such as the Center for Pastoral Excellence which includes The Discipleship Project.

Two workshops will be presented by CTS faculty members Dr. Bernie Lyon and Dr. Frank Thomas.  Though alumni can attend either workshop, we have intentionally planned offerings that will be interesting to both sides of our mission:  excellent theological and ministry education and superb pastoral care/psychological/mental health counseling education and training.

Following lunch and the afternoon workshops, we hope you will stay to honor Dr. Sue Cardwell.  This beloved Emeritus faculty and the first female member of that august body at CTS will celebrate her 95th birthday in 2013.  Dr. Cardwell has been an inspiration to CTS students and alumni through the years and we will be celebrating the establishment of the Dr. Sue and Walter Cardwell Scholarship Fund at CTS.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the reception will conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m.   To register or learn more, please contact Karen Horsman at khorsman@cts.edu or 317-931-2315.
