Worship @ CTS

God is praised continually at CTS, both in private prayer and in many forms of community worship. The life of the Spirit is shared by all who are part of the CTS experience—whether students, faculty, staff or off-campus visitors—and there are roles for everyone who wants to participate as preachers, musicians and liturgists.

Our primary worship space is Sweeney Chapel, an architecturally and spiritually uplifting center for diverse expressions of faith. Here you will find Word and Table services that represent the fullest gathering of the CTS community, and special worship events for a variety of occasions. Our main corporate worship happens on Wednesdays at 11:30, during the academic year. We offer a unique setting for learning, wonder and imagination that nurtures the creative spirit while expanding and deepening our experience and understanding of Christian worship as truly a work of the people. Chapel Worship draws from a wide variety of traditions and styles, incorporating a diversity of musical, visual, liturgical, and other expressions of arts, all of which speak to the strength and oneness of Christ’s church.

Worship services at CTS are open to all and visitors are always welcome.  Please see the Sweeney Chapel page to view our schedule of upcoming opportunities for community worship.
