Rent

CTS Apartments

The monthly rental rate for July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011, is $340 for a single student sharing a two-bedroom apartment or $680 for a family (couple, couple with children, single parent with children, etc.). The rent is due on the first day of each month. There is no difference in the rental rate if rented furnished.

Deposit

A damage deposit of $150 for a single student or $300 for a family is due upon signing of the lease agreement. The deposit will be refunded approximately 6 weeks after the resident vacates the apartment if the proper check-out procedures are followed and if no damage has been done to the apartment. In addition to the cost of repairing any damage to the apartment, late rent or other Seminary charges and any unpaid utility charges will be deducted from the damage deposit.

Lease

Before moving into an apartment, the resident must sign a lease. An inspection of the apartment will be done at that time. Academic year leases will run from August through the following June. All renewal leases are for the period July through the following June. Spring semester leases will run from January through June. Please Note: Apartment eligibility ceases upon the date that a resident is no longer enrolled in Christian Theological Seminary on a full-time basis, regardless of the expiration date on the resident’s lease.

Resident Managers

Two resident managers will be available in the apartment complex. These managers will facilitate community life and assist with possible problems or concerns related to the apartments.
