Applying for CTS and Federal Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed in order to apply for CTS grants, federal work-study and federal direct Stafford loans. The FAFSA may be filed electronically. You may also request a Personal Identification Number (PIN) which you may then use to sign up on FAFSA. When completing the FAFSA, you must request that a copy of the processed form be sent to our office by listing Christian Theological Seminary (school code G01789) in Section 6. Once you have completed your FAFSA, you will receive notification from the U.S. Department of Education stating that your application has been processed. If you filed the FAFSA electronically, you should receive an e-mail notification of processing within 72 hours. If you filed using the paper application, you will receive confirmation through the mail in approximately 4-6 weeks.
