During the 2017-18 academic year, Christian Theological Seminary will commemorate two historically significant events: the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther's posting his Ninety-Five Theses and the 50th year anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination. The Reformation and the Civil Rights Movement have indelibly shaped Protestant theology and its public witness. The seminary is committing to exploring the historical significance of these movements and their import for today's leaders to imagine a future filled with hope.
