Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning at CTS extends beyond the classroom and degree programs, gathering learners for fellowship and exploration around many topics.

Lifelong Theological Education
Our ever-changing series of lectures, workshops, programs and events bring to CTS diverse theological voices to explore theory and practice. All of these events are open to the general public. Engage in spiritual development workshops, discussions of ethics, examinations of global and local issues, and much more.

If you are a professional seeking continuing education, our Lifelong Theological Education program also offers a rich array of opportunities for studying spirituality and psychotherapy, worship and preaching, the practice of ministry and congregational leadership.

Peer Group Study Program
A Peer Group Study Program (PGSP) provides leadership consultation and resources for local congregations. This facilitated, year-long program is designed to build support networks for clergy as they deepen their knowledge of a self-selected study topic.

Licensed and Commissioned Ministers Summer School
For licensed and commissioned ministers seeking additional spiritual breadth, a CTS summer school offers an ideal opportunity for supplementary development. This annual summer school is offered in English and in Spanish.

CTS can even bring teachers and speakers to you, connecting your group with specialists on topics ranging from spirituality to Bible to social concerns, past and present.
