Administrative Assistant and Special Projects Coordinator

This position plays a key role in supporting  the Networking & Recruitment Office by managing the office, welcoming visitors, maintaining a student applicant database, responding to phone and email inquiries, coordinating materials for Admissions Committee meetings, preparing letters and other communication to applicants, preparing statistical data for reporting, and performing other general administrative tasks to support the mission of the office and seminary.  

Education and Qualifications:  Associate degree or equivalent plus 2-4 years of experience in an administrative assistant position.  Necessary skills include: providing hospitality to guests and prospective students, general work oversight and planning; ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure of deadline; attention to detail; maintaining confidentiality; and high level of ability and comfort in dealing positively, patiently, and appropriately with the public.  Applicant must also be proficient at word processing, database and spreadsheet applications with ability to learn new software programs.

Resident Manager-Hospitality House (CTS Student)

Duties include day to day oversight of the House, scheduling rooms for students, maintaining records for billing, coordinating repairs, laundry and cleaning needs with the Facilities staff and serving as liaison for guests. Must live on site at 1040 W. 42nd St. – Hospitality House. Free housing in lieu of monetary pay.

Maintenance Assistant

Principal duties involve the general upkeep and cleaning maintenance of buildings and their contents including room setup, and minor maintenance.  In addition, participate in other craft work such as carpentry, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation (HVAC), and plumbing.  Provide for the processing of mail and the maintenance of share office machines (non-information technology machines).
