Event rental space
Thank you for your interest in using Christian Theological Seminary’s spaces for your event.
The CTS campus includes three buildings: the main building, the Counseling Center and the Hospitality House. The Counseling Center typically is not available for events, and the Hospitality House provides overnight accommodations for CTS students and guests.
The seminary’s main building, a mid-century modern masterpiece, has many spaces available for rent. These include:
- Several meeting rooms for groups of three to 80 people, including Room B29, which has a beautiful view of White River and the Central Canal
- Common Room, which can accommodate up to 176 people for dinners or receptions
- Café, for up to 130 people
- Shelton Auditorium, for up to 425 people
- Sweeney Chapel, which can accommodate up to 400 people
If you are interested in using our building or grounds for your meeting or event, please read the CTS Events Policies and Procedures document, which provides extensive information about our facilities, pricing and policies.
The next step is to complete and submit the CTS Reservation Request form. When the request is received, our Events Committee will review it and usually respond within a week. In general, CTS welcomes any events that aligns with the mission and vision of the seminary. Spaces can be rented for personal, commercial, nonprofit or educational purposes. However, availability may be limited due to CTS events, including class schedules, and use by students, faculty and staff.
If you have questions about our facility that are not covered in the Events Policies and Procedures document, please contact Eric Wilcox at firstname.lastname@example.org or 317-931-2333.
If you are requesting the use of CTS for filming or photography, please see the CTS Film or Photography Policy.
